The Tommy Talkington Cup 

In loving memory of their son Tommy, who tragically died at the peak of his junior career, the Talkington Family honors the top 6 junior golfers, three girls, and three boys, each year during the annual Jackson-Madison County Championship held in June.  This event intends to preserve Tommy’s love for the game of golf and his desire to teach younger golfers to enjoy the game as much as he did.  He was a  beloved son, brother, and best friend, who always had a club in his hand and a smile on his face!

The Tommy Talkington Cup 

• Format: 18 holes, stroke play
• Eligibility:  Middle School players (in middle school ~ rising 9th grader); High School players (in high school ~ rising freshman in college); College players (full-time college student)
• Divisions:  Middle School, High School, and College
